Snowline’s Volunteer Department Launches First-ever Virtual Training Program for New Clinical Volunteers
Virtual Clinical Volunteers
10/21/2020
The Volunteer Department’s recruitment efforts for Clinical Volunteers have continued to be successful during the current Covid-19 pandemic. The department is excited to announce that five aspiring volunteers have embarked on the first-ever Volunteer Virtual Training Program offered by Snowline Hospice. The Volunteer Department researched, designed, and developed the contemporary Volunteer Virtual Training Program specific to the needs of Snowline Hospice as well as meeting the industry standard for hospice volunteer training. The program connects aspiring volunteers to multiple training methodologies, assessments, and on-going learning initiatives. Completion of virtual training is the first step in becoming a Clinical Volunteer, which requires additional in-person hospice shadowing and training. Welcome Clinical Volunteer Class of 2020!
Snowline was founded over forty-one years ago by a team of dedicated volunteers. That volunteer spirit lives on today. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering with Snowline, please contact Melissa, Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteerservices@snowlinehospice.org
